STANDBY

A glass disc on three black posts, a black dome over it, the halogen light hidden inside. Light goes into the dome and comes back down through the glass, so the disc is what glows. Turn the dimmer to low, and it's a dim amber circle floating in the dark, the exact color of the moon at two in the morning. It's a lot of engineering for one circle of light.
